I participated in transformation programs of IT Departments, with
specific involvement in Process efficiency, Voice of customer, and Mindset
& behaviours. Combining top-down and bottom-up approach, I reached a high

Very quickly I have been identified as one of the Lean referents and I
have been in charge to work on methodology improvements and to train junior
Lean consultants.

Then, I joined the
Continuous Improvement Team where I am in charge to support transformed teams
in their Lean journey. I work directly with heads of departments (N+3) and
Managers (N+2) to help them to reinforce their Lean practices and to reach
their objectives.

08/2006 to 04/2010: Head of Procurement
Methods & IS for Sourcing division (Group level)

Ø Procurement transformation in 7 countries.

I managed
a team of 5 people in charge to accelerate and streamline RFx and negotiation
processes by implementing collaborative technologie “Ariba Spend management”. I
have designed a specific change management program, supported by a dedicated
organization. In 2 years, 110 buyers based in France, UK, US, Rumania Czech
Republic, Germany and Italy have adopted the solution. Total spending negotiated
with new processes and solution was € 3,500 billions per year.

Ø Tactical cost reduction program

To help
the management to achieve the objectives of cost reduction, I have introduced
reverse auction in the sourcing cycle. For each negotiation, I help the buyer
to define the right strategy.

Based on
an analysis of the portfolio, I have launched 68 reverse auctions in 18 months
for an amount of € 170 M. We have saved up to € 24 M (14%).

BravoSolution is a consulting company dedicated to the
improvement of purchasing processes through web based technologies and

successfully led and managed the team in charge of the implementation of
customized and private eSourcing platforms for businesses such as RTE (50
buyers, 1.000 suppliers) or Cegelec (130 buyers in France, Europe and Asia)
with € 800 M spending managed trough the platform in 18 months.

I launched
a reverse auction program for Air France and managed 40 events for a spending
of € 50M and reached 10% saving.

Ø Procurement consultancy and cost reduction programs

Clients, I was responsible for the diagnosis of direct or indirect purchasing.
Then, I managed the project to achieve the goals in terms of cost reduction.

For an
example, I managed a 6 months cost reduction program for a project in North
Africa, including worldwide sourcing. We achieved up to 12% of savings topping
the objective of 7% by far.

Business development:

of new key Clients (fortune 500 companies) and management of the relationship. In
2003 I acquired 75% of the new Clients of the company. I created a business
model for private platforms, based on technology, support and consultancy.

01/ 2000 to 11/ 2002: CEO -
Founder of the Company


was an eSourcing provider focused on large sized companies. It was one of the
precursors to develop eSourcing solutions for the French market.

I created
the company and hired up to 35 people. Offices were set up in Paris and Sophia
Antipolis. My main responsibilities were to create the eSourcing concept, to
develop business activity, to supervise operations and to create a strong
corporate brand name to acquire visibility on the market.

We raised € 3,9 M in funds to finance 3 years of activity and
technological developments.

I defined
all specifications to develop the eSourcing platform and supervised the
subcontractor in charge of technological developments. Our solutions proposed
the following applications: RFX, Reverse auctions, Vendor management,
Collaborative application and Knowledge management.

2 awards received: “Label of innovation” from ANVAR and “Price for
innovation” from Telecom Valley (IBM, Alcatel, etc)

eSourcing operations: I supervised eSourcing events (> 500 reverse
auctions), defining the right strategies and advising corporate purchasing
directors. We achieved 3% to 40% savings (average: 15%) for commodities such as
raw materials, chemicals, MRO, services, industrial equipments and consumables

development: I defined the marketing and the sales strategies to build
notoriety of the company and to acquire Clients. I led negotiations with key
Clients such as Bouyges Télécom, Snecma, Steelcase, Air Liquide, Still &
Saxby, Nexans, Thales, etc.

Mon parcours, m’a amené à piloter des
programmes de conduite du changement d’envergure, englobant l’amélioration des
processus achats (6 Sigma) et le déploiement de nouveaux outils.

J'ai ensuite rejoins le centre de compétences Lean Management de la
banque d'investissements de le Société Générale. Au vu de mes premiers
résultats, j’ai rapidement été identifié parmi les référents Lean de l’équipe
et j'ai pu ainsi bénéficier du programme de formation et de coaching de Mc Kinsey. J’ai
développé une expertise dans la résolution de problèmes, dont la technique
d’Appreciative Inquiry que j’ai pu utiliser afin de rétablir à la normale les
relations entre une équipe technique et son client interne.

Après ces 2 ans d’expérience Lean réussie, je souhaite
maintenant poursuivre mon parcours dans un nouvel environnement. Rejoindre le
centre de compétences Lean d'une grande entreprise ou la practice Lean d'un cabinet conseil, me
permettrait de découvrir de nouveaux aspects du Lean Management, tout en
apportant mon expertise acquise dans les équipes projets IT de la banque
d’investissement de la Société Générale.
